My Bio

My name is Jonathan Benson. Growing up, my parents took us on many mission trips to Mexico. They told stories of my grandparents and great-grandparents when they were missionaries. I was always interested in mission work. Through high school I got a little distracted career wise, but I always felt like I was called to be a missionary. In college I decided to study elementary education. After my sophomore year of college, I chose to volunteer a year as a Student Missionary. I spent a year in Bolivia as a missionary at an orphanage teaching 1-4th grade at an orphanage, and taking care of a house of boys. It turned into a love for mission work and serving others. Through a lot of prayer, and open doors, I'm studying aviation to become a mission pilot. My goal is to finish my aviation training, then head straight back into the mission field.
